Sun Devils fall out of rankings

Nov 7, 2011, 4:52 PM | Updated: 5:52 pm

Week four of the BCS standings were released on Sunday
night, and the Arizona State Sun Devils were nowhere to be
found following their disappointing 29-28 loss to UCLA on
Saturday night.

ASU had been ranked 19th last week before falling completely
out of the standings, which consider the USA Today Coaches’
Poll, the Harris Interactive Poll and a battery of computer
rankings.

The Sun Devils also plummeted out of the AP and Coaches’
polls as well. ASU had been ranked 20th in the AP Poll and
18th in the Coaches’ Poll before the loss.

Another road game awaits Arizona State, as the Sun Devils
travel to Pullman to take on Washington State on Saturday
night. ASU is 1-3 away from home this season.
