ASU’s bowl whereabouts still up in the air

We know one thing for certain: despite their current
three-game losing streak, the Arizona State Sun Devils
will play in a bowl game for the first time since 2007.
And that’s about all we know.
The Devils, led by their embattled head coach Dennis
Erickson, have one regular season game left this Friday
against California. A win and some help from USC and Utah
would send the Sun Devils to the first-ever Pac-12
Championship Game.
A win in that game (as far-fetched as that really is)
would propel the Devils to the Rose Bowl against the
champion of the Big Ten.
Let’s just say nobody is expecting that to happen. A look
at some bowl projections from national media types has the
Sun Devils all over the map in predicting their postseason
destination.
