Erickson says ASU has improved under his watch

Nov 22, 2011, 8:19 PM | Updated: 8:45 pm

Dennis Erickson doesn’t know if he’ll be the head football
coach at Arizona State next season, but he is sure of one
thing:

The program is in better shape now than it was five years
ago when he was hired.

A guest on Arizona Sports 620’s Burns and Gambo, the coach
was asked about how things have changed.

“Between night and day, in my opinion, as far as a lot of
different things,” he said. “Obviously the W’s aren’t
there like we want them right now and this season right
now is somewhat disappointing – we’ve got to see what
happens – but in a lot of areas, in this program, it’s
really improved.

“A lot of stability and a lot of good things can happen,
so we’ve made a lot of improvements there.”
