Update: Leavitt no longer on ASU’s coaching shortlist

Dec 10, 2011, 9:23 PM | Updated: Dec 12, 2011, 3:58 am

And the saga continues.

Arizona Sports 620’s Paul Calvisi tweeted Saturday that Arizona State’s new shortlist does
not include current San Francisco 49ers linebacker coach Jim Leavitt.

Calvisi later tweeted that ASU has many questions concerning discipline and
behavior in regards to Leavitt and are worried about those issues with the
NCAA and the possibilities of another undisciplined team.

ASU’s shortlist currently includes Troy Calhoun, Justin Wilcox, Mark Helfrich
and Ron English. Despite reports of Kevin Sumlin signing with Texas A&M,
ASU will still keep him in mind until the reports are confirmed.
