Is it possible the Arizona State is after a coach from the Pac-12 South?
According to The Arizona Republic, it’s quite possible, as ASU has
confirmed their interest in current Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham.
Whittingham wouldn’t be a bad choice for ASU. After all, he turned the Utah
program into a decent side that has made several bowl game appearances and
knows the competition in the Pac-12 South. He’s posted a 65-25 record with
the Utes.
The Utes finished 7-5 in the regular season this year and will play Georgia
Tech in the Sun Bowl.
Whittingham’s reported salary is about $1.7 million per year.
