Report: Osweiler declaring for NFL Draft on Friday

Brock Osweiler had a record-setting season for the Arizona
State Sun Devils.
He became the first ASU quarterback to throw for more than
4,000 yards in a season, while passing for 26 touchdowns
for
the 6-7 Devils.
Following a 56-24 loss to Boise State in the Maaco Bowl
Las
Vegas last month, an
emotional Osweiler spoke to the media
about his offensive coordinator, Noel Mazzone, taking
a
job
on Jim L. Mora’s staff at UCLA. Mazzone was not retained
by
newly-hired ASU coach Todd Graham.
That led to a thread of rumors that Osweiler would bolt
ASU
to reunite with Mazzone in Westwood for his senior season.
The reality that Osweiler would still have to sit out a
year
after an in-conference transfer poured a bucket of cold
water on those rumors.
But the latest strong rumors have Osweiler foregoing his
senior season to enter the NFL Draft.
DevilsDigest.com is reporting that Osweiler’s time at
Arizona State is over.
