Arizona State University has hired Greg Vandermade as an
assistant head coach for sports performance, Head Football
Coach Todd Graham announced Friday.
Vandermade previously worked at Cal State Fullerton as the
head strength and conditioning coach in 2008, and also was
an assistant strength and conditioning coach for two seasons
at the University of Tulsa. There, he was in charge of the
strength and conditioning programs for 11 sports.
The 29-year-old Vandermade will work alongside newly hired
Shawn Griswold, the head coach for sports performance for
the 21 Sun Devil athletic programs.
Vandermade’s ties with football include college playing
experience at Utah State University as an offensive guard
for the Aggies.
