ASU’s Graham adds Tim Cassidy to staff
Arizona State football head coach Todd Graham announced on
Tuesday that Tim Cassidy will join the program as the
Senior Associate Athletic Director of Football.
Cassidy comes to Tempe with 23 years of experience at
Texas A&M University as a graduate assistant, recruiting
coordinator, assistant athletic director, and as an
associate athletic director for the past four years.
While at A&M, the team won five Southwest Conference
Championships, three Big 12 South titles and one overall
Big 12 Championship.
Cassidy coordinated travel, recruiting, assisted with
scheduling and oversaw strength and conditioning,
equipment and academic support units regarding football.
Cassidy started out his career at Morningside College
before moving to A&M in ‘83. He also spent time with the
University of Florida in ‘87 and ‘88 and was the associate
athletic director for football at the University of
Nebraska before joining the Aggies again in ’07.
He was also included in Tom Lemming’s list of the top 10
recruiters in the nation in 1999 and helped produce three
straight top-25 recruiting classes during his time with
Nebraska.
