Sun Devil football releases season ticket prices

Apr 6, 2012, 9:41 PM | Updated: 11:24 pm

Sun Devil Athletics announced the sale of season tickets and renewal dates for current season ticket holders for the 2012 football season in a press release Friday.

Prices for current season ticket holders range from $120 to $1770 and prospective season ticket holders will look at a cost of $120 to $1850. Last year, new holders had to pay what this year’s current holder will, $120 to $1770.

According to the press release, an ASU season ticket is “the second-best value out of all football teams ranked in the final 2011 AP top-25 poll.”

Current season ticket holders have until May 18 to renew and take advantage of the loyalty discount and retain their current seats.

Because of the plans to renovate Sun Devil Stadium, some of the sections have been reclassified.

“We want to continue to make our games accessible to a broad audience,” Sun Devil Athletics associate athletic director Steven Hank said in a press release. “We are also taking significant measures to improve customer service for season ticket holders and to enhance their overall experience before, during, and after our events.”

The Sun Devils play six home games against Illinois, Utah, UCLA, Oregon, Washington State and NAU.

ASU’s first game is against the NAU Lumberjacks, and the date is still to be announced.
