Bowls feature impressive gift packages for participating teams

College football bowl season is here. While it’s great for the players to participate in these big games, they also get some cool stuff for playing.

Each bowl puts together a gift bag of sorts for those participating in the game, usually connected with the sponsor. Sports Business Daily put together a list of each treat package teams will be receiving this next month.

Arizona is headed to the AdvoCare V100 Bowl in Shreveport, La., on New Year’s Eve to face off with Boston College. The players will be walking away with a gift suite, Timely Watch Co. watch, New Era skull cap and a football.

Arizona State and Texas Tech will play each other in the National University Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30 in San Diego. The gifts the Sun Devils and Red Raiders will receive include a $305 Best Buy gift card, Reactor Meltdown watch and Maui Jim sunglasses.

The two local games, the Fiesta Bowl and the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, put together impressive packages of their own. UCF and Baylor, the Fiesta Bowl participants, along with Michigan and Kansas State, which play in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, will have their players each get a gift suite, Fossil watch and Ogio Cube backpack.
