Cardinals have made significant progress on Kevin Kolb trade

Could the Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback saga be drawing to the end soon? For all of our sakes we hope so.

Reports have surfaced Thursday from the NFL Network’s Adam Caplan that negotiations have made significant progress in recent hours.

Could Kolb be signed, sealed and delivered soon? If the Cardinals are in talks with his agent about a new contract it’s hard to imagine the deal taking much longer. That is, as long as Kolb and the team can get on the same page about contract specifics.

It sounds like we’re in the home stretch. The Cardinals will soon have their quarterback and everyone else will have some peace of mind.
