NBA Draft style: Burgundy and bow ties rule the green room

The green room at the NBA Draft is style central. After all, what other place do 18- to 23-year-olds gather with few cares about the price tags on their suits?
Few. We’re here to chronicle the best looks at the NBA Draft.
As for general themes, velvety-looking jackets and bow ties ruled the day. But first, some of the most unique, clean looks.
Let’s begin with Brandon Ingram, who decided to forgo a tie altogether. Black on black underneath brings out a charcoal-looking jacket. Subjectively, we’re calling that a win.

Next, let’s give Kentucky big man Skal Labissiere some credit for going off-theme with a bright pink jacket and pink plaid-and-white button-up.

Domantas Sabonis, meanwhile, went classical and even bothered to match with his green room crew. And look! Ol’ man Arvydas is hanging out with him.

Buddy Hield went a different direction. A white jacket with a black and crimson trim. Very Sooner-esque.

On to the theme of the 2016 NBA Draft. Purple-to-burgundy is in — just ask Timothe Luwawu, Jaylen Brown, Malik Beasley and Washington Huskies Dejounte Murray and Marquese Chriss.

On to the kicks. Denzel Valentine is rocking those shoes that orchestras use for matching tuxedos, but he’s also got his own face on his Stance socks. #Goals.
