Dockett playing GM, would like a cornerback
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie appears to be on his way to Philadelphia, leaving the Cardinals with a hole at the cornerback position.
Darnell Dockett has an idea of who should fill it.
Ayeeeeeeee @A_Cromartie31 get them folks to call over here!! Let’s make that happen!
So, Antonio Cromartie? It’s an interesting thought.
This Cromartie, a cousin of the one the Cardinals are shipping out, is as talented as any defensive back in the league. He’s got great size and speed, and has had some monster seasons.
He picked off three passes last season and has 18 interceptions in his five year career, including 10 in 2007.
However, his dedication has been questioned, he has shied away from contact and struggles to remember his children’s names — all nine of them.
Cromartie is just 27-years-old and in his prime, so the Cardinals could do a lot worse if they’re looking for a veteran corner to play opposite Patrick Peterson and Greg Toler.
