The Arizona State Sun Devils’ basketball team has finalized their nonconference schedule for the 2016-17 season.

ASU will tip off their season on Friday, Nov. 11 in Tempe against Portland State, followed by a home game against Cal Poly two days later.

The Sun Devils will then take part in the Puerto Rico Classic with possible opponents including Oklahoma, Clemson, Davidson, Northern Iowa, Missouri, Tulane and Xavier.

After a home game against Citadel, ASU will travel to the Bahamas and take on Kentucky, who has the possibility of being ranked No. 1 in the nation.

The remainder of the nonconference opponents include home games against UNLV, New Mexico State, Creighton and Central Arkansas. Additionally, they will travel to California to play San Diego State and will have a neutral-site contest against Purdue in New York City in the Jimmy V Classic.

Three of ASU’s opponents — Kentucky (SEC), New Mexico State (WAC) and San Diego State (Mountain West) — either won or had a share of their regular season conference titles in 2015.

Arizona State has gone 58-14 (.806 winning percentage) at home over the past four seasons. They also five wins against ranked teams at home in the past three seasons, tied for the most in the Pac-12 in that span.
