Apparently Joey Porter decided remaining a Cardinal was worth taking a pay-cut.
I’m told Cardinals outside linebacker Joey Porter adjusted his contract and is a Cardinalless than a minute ago via TweetDeck

Cardinals fans should be happy about this move.
Though Porter was a disappointment last year collecting just five sacks, the veteran linebacker still has some game. He should not be playing every down, but he can certainly be a situational pass rusher.
A 34-year-old, Porter can provide leadership at a position where the Cardinals are filled with youth. That, too, should not be discounted.
