Former Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett announced his retirement Monday, but was enlisted for a new team on Wednesday afternoon.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler penned a list of 2016’s all-retirement team, a 22-man roster of the best players to retire this season. Dockett made the list as a DT to go with Green Bay’s B.J. Raji.

Dockett, who retired as a Cardinal this week, would split time with Jason Hatcher, who also put in 10 years on the defensive line. These two combined for 75 sacks.

The three-time Pro Bowler amassed 40.5 sacks, all with Arizona, over his 10-year career. He made 156 career starts, 459 tackles and recovered 14 fumbles. In 2009, he had three sacks in the Super Bowl.

Fowler gave Dockett the starting edge over Hatcher, who had 34.5 sacks and 251 tackles in 10 seasons with Dallas and Washington.
