It’s not normally that big a deal when a college football team unveils new uniforms if the change doesn’t involve a massive visual overhaul.
Michigan may be the exception to that rule.
The Wolverines rolled out their new football uniforms for 2016 Tuesday and the biggest switch is the manufacturer. Big Blue is the first FBS team to wear Jordan Brand uniforms.
From Michigan’s official athletic website:
The Jordan Brand and the University of Michigan uphold a long-standing standard of earned excellence — no shortcuts, no gimmicks. Through hard work and unwavering fortitude, the two institutions have become globally recognized icons of success.
The partnership fuses the determined grit of Michigan with the groundbreaking innovation of Jordan Brand, resulting in an unprecedented bond of greatness.
