GCU opens new arena vs. ASU

It’s just an exhibition. It doesn’t count.
Sure, try telling that to the students at Grand Canyon
University.
“Man, everybody is excited,” said Antelopes senior point
guard Kyle Speed. “It’s almost like the rest of the season
doesn’t even exist.”
Added head coach Russ Pennell on the buzz around campus,
“This is the Super Bowl, World Series all wrapped up into
one.”
Saturday, Division II Grand Canyon hosts Division I ASU to
officially open the school’s new 5,000-seat arena.
