Arizona State has 22 turnovers, loses to Fairfield

On this Thanksgiving holiday the Arizona State Sun Devils were in a
giving mood.
In their 55-44 loss to the Fairfield Stags the Sun Devils turned the ball
over 22
times. Three different guards had four turnovers; Carrick Felix, Keala
King and
Chris Colvin.
When the Sun Devils weren’t turning the ball over they were shooting
poorly.
For the game they made less than 40% of their shots — making two of
13
three-point attempts.
The bright spot for Arizona State was Trent Lockett. He scored 15 points
for
the now 1-3 Sun Devils, who have lost three in a row since winning their
opener against Montana State.
Lockett made a field goal on ASU’s first possession of the second half
and he
would make the team’s next field goal more than eight minutes later.
After being down 12 at the half, the Sun Devils never threatened late in
the
game.
The Sun Devils will face Wake Forest in a consolation-round matchup
Friday.
