The Arizona Diamondbacks’ 11-inning outing Wednesday forced their hand, and on Thursday they have made four roster moves to bring fresh arms into the overworked bullpen.

The D-backs optioned right-hander Dominic Leone and lefty Steve Hathaway to Triple-A Reno and recalled right-handers Silvino Bracho and Vicente Campos.

Campos, 24, has yet to appear in a major-league game and was acquired in the trade that sent Tyler Clippard to the New York Yankees. He is 10-5 with a 3.26 ERA in 24 starts across four combined Single-A and Double-A teams this season.

Bracho has a 4.81 ERA and 15 saves with Reno this season and a strikeout rate of 11.5 per nine innings. His success has failed to translate to the majors; he has a 6.75 ERA in 14.2 innings pitched with the Diamondbacks this season.

Leone struggled with a 7.52 ERA in 20 appearances and recorded a blown save on Wednesday after inheriting runners on base and allowing a hit that tied the game in the ninth inning.

Hathaway has pitched nine innings in 14 appearances and has allowed three earned runs, which all came in one game on Aug. 15 against the Mets.
