Carson Palmer and David Johnson read notes of encouragement from kids

Sep 8, 2016, 7:13 AM | Updated: 9:43 am

It’s like the opposite of “Mean Tweets,” and it’s great.

The NFL produced a short video with four players reading notes from kids, and Arizona Cardinals Carson Palmer and David Johnson were two of the recipients. They were joined by San Francisco’s NaVorro Bowman and Seattle’s Tyler Lockett in reading the letters and then responding.

The video begins with Palmer reading Sally’s request, which was to do good and score 100 touchdowns.

“Sally, that’s impossible,” the QB responds.

Johnson, on the other hand, was implored to run fast, play good, catch a lot of balls and beat the Sea-Chickens.

The second-year running back laughed at the last part.

The video is part of a series called “NFL Pep Talks,” and it is meant to help kick off the 2016 season on a lighter note. It’s like the opposite of “Mean Tweets,” and it’s great.
