The Arizona Wildcats faced off against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Saturday, but the game was put into perspective many times throughout the night.
It was announced earlier this week that the Wildcats would don uniforms to honor the 75th anniversary of the attacks at Pearl Harbor, but there were many more honorary moments before and during the game.
Before kickoff, WWII veteran Lauren Bruner was honored with a game ball and a 48-star U.S. flag, before standing by for the national anthem.

Sen. John McCain was even on site to greet the veteran.

Last week against Grambling State, it was the Tigers’ band who put on a show for the crowd at halftime. Against Hawaii, the Wildcats’ band got their turn to amaze everybody with their formation.
