Kolb impressed with Cardinals coaching staff

Coming to a new team and having to learn a different offense can be a daunting task.

Doing it all in a span of a couple weeks, without being allowed to practice during one of them? That can be downright impossible.

But, as Kevin Kolb told Sports 620 KTAR’s Doug and Wolf Thursday, one of the things that has impressed him about the coaches in Arizona is how easy they make things.

“There’s a little bit of leeway with some things, and they allow the players to kind of play freely,” he said. “A lot of times in the NFL it’s so precise and it’s so detail oriented, which is also a good thing so there’s a fine line there, that guys play stiff, they play scared.

“You can’t play football with fear. If you do that then you’re not reacting, you’re not playing as fast as you can possibly play.”
