Kevin Kolb: ‘I can take my game to another level’

Kevin Kolb knows there is pressure. He knows there are doubters and he knows there are some who think the Cardinals overpaid to get a guy who hasn’t proven anything in the NFL.

It doesn’t matter.

“There’s always a little bit of pressure,” he said. “I know that, I’m not naive enough not to think that.

“But, I just feel a lot more relaxed here than what I have in the past and that’s exciting for me because I feel can take my game to another level.”

That’s not only what the Cardinals would want to hear, but also what they expect. Arizona did not give up a former Pro-Bowl cornerback and a second round pick for someone who they hope is better than what they had last year; they gave all that up because they think the guy they got in return is one of the better passers in the NFL.
