You didn’t think Richard Sherman would wake up to see Patrick Peterson had signed the richest cornerback deal in NFL history and not say anything did you?
If so, you must have forgotten the back and forth these two had just two short months ago.
The Seattle Seahawks outspoken cornerback tweeted a photo with his Super Bowl ring early Wednesday. He’s not “mad” about the $48 million Peterson is guaranteed. Really, he’s not.
At least that’s what he wants you to believe.
Tuesday night, Sherman retweeted this:
Richard Sherman and Patrick Peterson combined to allow 8 touchdown passes in 2013. Peterson gave up seven of those.

Wednesday morning, Peterson fired off this tweet:
Yu mad bro!!!! LMAO😂😂😂😂😭

Sherman then went for the knockout blow:
Can't ever be too mad lmao… pic.twitter.com/ZHA28B9Tji

A guest of Bickley and Marotta on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Wednesday, Peterson responded to Sherman’s ring tweet.
“Super Bowl is a team achievement, not individual.”
Well said, Patrick.
