Arizona State quarterback Brady White is out for the season because of a right foot injury announced head coach Todd Graham Monday.

White made his first career start in ASU’s 23-20 win to UCLA Saturday in place of starter Manny Wilkins, who was out with a left foot injury. White left the game 19-of-36 for 179 yards, with one touchdown and one interception.

Graham is planning on having Wilkins back soon.

White, a unanimous four-star recruit, was making his first start as a freshman after sitting out last season as a redshirt.

ASU had to play true freshman Dillon Sterling-Cole after White’s injury on Saturday. He threw an interception on his only pass attempt.

The Sun Devils’ next game is Saturday at Colorado.
