It’s homecoming weekend for the Sun Devils as they welcome the Washington State Cougars to town for a Saturday night matchup at Sun Devil Stadium.
The Sun Devils (5-2) are coming off a 40-16 loss to Colorado. Manny Wilkins started at quarterback for ASU and completed 13-of-35 pass attempts for 149 yards, while their run game struggled with only 50 yards on 28 carries.
The Cougars (4-2) defeated UCLA last week 27-21 to remain undefeated in Pac-12 play. Quarterback Luke Falk didn’t have his best night as he went 28-of-48 for 261 yards, but was held without a passing touchdown for the first time in his collegiate career.
The Sun Devils have already faced and beat two teams that run a version of the air raid attack in 2016, as ASU is looking to use that to their advantage to get the season back on track.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game can be heard on Arizona Sports 98.7FM.
