How did Kevin Kolb look to a former NFL player?

Fans have their opinions on the how Kevin Kolb looked in his first game as an Arizona Cardinal and so does the media, but what about a former NFL player?
Former Cardinal fullback and Pro Bowler Ron Wolfley weighed in with his observations on Kolb’s performance Friday morning.
“Kevin Kolb in the first series looked like a guy who knew a franchise had given up an awful lot for him,” Wolf said on Doug and Wolf. “There for he did not look very good in that first series. He looked like a guy who was feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders. Once he got that first series out of the way he came back and played pretty well.”
Although Kolb had a decent stat line when it was all said and done (4-for-7 for 68 yards and a 90.2 QB rating), that doesn’t mean Wolf wasn’t concerned by certain elements of his play.
“He did not seem to be seeing the field very well,” Wolf said. “That is one of the things I was concerned about. That was one of the things I wanted to see from him.”
As with everyone, the preseason is about one thing for Kolb. Getting better.
“It’s a situation where I want to see progress from him. The big knock against him was that he couldn’t throw the deep ball, but he threw an absolutely beautiful pass to Larry Fitzgerald. I think that’s important to build that chemistry up.”
If Cardinals fans are lucky, that chemistry between the new quarterback and the team’s star wide receiver will continue to grow through the next three preseason games and into the season. If not it could be another long year in the desert.
