University of Phoenix Stadium roof is open against Washington

PHOENIX — The Arizona Cardinals expect to play under clear skies and an open roof as the team takes on the Washington Redskins Sunday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, the temperature for the game should be sunny and a high of 68 degrees. Kickoff against Washington is slated for 2:25 p.m. local time.

Arizona went 2-0 last year when the roof was open, but did not play with an open roof during the entire 2014 season.
