The Arizona Cardinals are one of the best stories in the NFL.
Even though they’ve been besieged by injuries, suspensions and a key player signing elsewhere, Bruce Arians’ team continues to persevere.
The “next man up” mantra that has become so common in the NFL has become a way of life in the desert. At the midway point of the 2014 seasons, the Cardinals are 7-1 and undoubtedly one of the best teams in the league.
But one of the reasons why the Cardinals’ story is so amazing is that they’ve achieved this level of success without any one single player having an unbelievable season.
Instead, every player has made a contribution. It makes for an interesting argument about who the choice would be if the Cardinals were to hand out a midseason Most Valuable Player award.
