Snapshot: Wildcats fall to last in Pac-12 South

Tick tock.
With how fast the Wildcats were willing to drop former head coach Mike Stoops, interim head coach Tim Kish should be shaking in his windbreaker. The Cats haven't been close in a game since he took over. The Colorado running game beat up the Wildcats on Saturday. The Buffaloes put up 273 yards on just 45 carries and had four rushing touchdowns. Arizona quarterback Nick Foles didn't have his best game on Saturday. He threw for 347 yards including a touchdown and took hold of the school record for career pass yards, but his three interceptions was not what the Cats needed. Colorado quarterback Tyler Hansen put some good numbers up, despite the wind. He went 16-for-24 and threw for 216 yards, including two touchdowns. He also did not throw an interception. Maybe Arizona can blame the wind. The average wind speed was around 30 mph, but gusted as high as 75 mph. Tailgaters weren't allowed to set up tents, a children's festival was moved inside and the Wildcats dropped to the bottom of the Pac-12 South.
