The Arizona Wildcats have their coach.

The announcement was made by Arizona AD Greg Byrne via
Twitter Monday that former West Virginia and Michigan
coach Rich Rodriguez will take over in Tucson, putting an
end to a search that begin in mid-October.

Rodriguez does not arrive in Tucson without baggage, as he
had an acrimonious departure from West Virginia in 2007
and a quick exit from Michigan after only three seasons on
the job.

However, the guy does win.

Rodriguez went 60-26 over seven seasons with the
Mountaineers, winning the Big East four times and seeing
his teams reaching BCS bowls in each of the last two
seasons he spent there.
