UA matchup vs. USC to be nationally televised

The Arizona Wildcats’ Oct. 27 showdown against the USC Trojans will be at 12:30 p.m. and aired on national TV.
This will mark Arizona’s seventh nationally televised game of the season and the third game on an ABC/ESPN network.
Arizona has lost nine of its last 10 meetings against the Trojans, but the games have been highly competitive in recent years.
Last season, the Wildcats went down 17-0 in the first quarter but battled back and found themselves down just 34-27 entering the four quarter.
Former UA quarterback Nick Foles and USC gunslinger Matt Barkley dueled down the stretch, but Barkley’s Trojans ultimately came out on top 48-41.
The 2012 matchup looks like it is could be yet another high scoring battle between two highly talented quarterbacks, UA’s Matt Scott and USC’s Barkley.
This week, Arizona takes on the Washington Huskies at home. The Wildcats are coming off a bye week, while the Huskies will be trying to recover after suffering losses against Oregon and USC.
