Super Bowls have been won by backup quarterbacks with less experience than Stanton, who hadn’t started an NFL game for four years until filling in for injured starter Carson Palmer early this season, leading the Cardinals to two wins in three starts.
In fact, a former Arena Football League quarterback and USFL QB have led teams to Super Bowl glory.
