The College Football Playoff Committee says the Arizona Wildcats are the 14th-best team in the country — and yet, they’re currently just the fourth-best team in their division.
Entering Saturday’s home game against the Washington Huskies, which will air on FOX beginning at 1:30 p.m., UA (7-2, 4-2 Pac-12) trails Arizona State by a full game and UCLA and USC by one-half game in the Pac-12 South division.
In order to keep pace and remain in range of a division championship, the Wildcats will have to overcome a bunch of bumps and bruises, not to mention a formidable Washington front seven.
