The Washington Huskies likely let the No. 14 Arizona Wildcats (8-2, 5-2 Pac-12) off the hook Saturday by electing to run the ball with under 1:30 to play and nursing a two-point lead.

Washington coach Chris Petersen could have had quarterback Cyler Miles take a knee for three straight plays, which would have probably given the ball back to UA with just seconds remaining.

Instead, UA defensive back Tra’Mayne Bondurant stripped the ball from Washington tailback Deontae Cooper with just over a minute to play. The Wildcats recovered the fumble and moved the ball 14 yards down the field to set up a game-winning field goal as time expired.
