Arizona vs. Oregon: A Pac-12 title — and maybe more — at stake for the Wildcats

They won the Territorial Cup. They won their first-ever Pac-12 South championship.
The only thing that stands between the No. 7 Arizona Wildcats and a top-tier bowl game — and possibly a College Football Playoff appearance — is a team they’ve beaten twice in a row, including once on the road earlier this season.
Easy, right?
“It’s tough to beat a good team twice, although it’s definitely not impossible,” said senior safety Jared Tevis about UA’s Pac-12 Championship game against the No. 2 Oregon Ducks on Friday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
In the last two years, Oregon has run roughshod over all comers — except Arizona. The Ducks are 0-2 against UA and 22-1 against everyone else in that time.
“We’re going to prepare like we do every week. I don’t think it’s going to be any different besides the fact that the stakes are a little higher and it’s a big game for us,” Tevis said.
“There will definitely be an intensity to prepare harder and to stay more focused, but we’re going to do what we do every week to be ready for them.”
