Five Arizona Wildcats earn Pac-12 Honors

The Arizona Wildcats’ regular season may have ended on a bitter note, losing to rival Arizona State, 87-80. But Monday proved to be sweeter for the Cats, after five players earned Pac-12 postseason honors.
Guard Kyle Fogg and forward Solomon Hill were first-team all-conference selections and guard Nick Johnson garnered all-freshman recognition. Forward Jesse Perry was given honorable mention all-conference honors, while guard Josiah Turner was named an honorable mention all-freshman.
In his senior year, Fogg led Arizona with a 13.5 points per game average as well as in steals (33). He was also selected to the all-defensive team.
Hill, a 6-foot-6 junior, paced the Wildcats with a 7.8 rebounds per game average, assists (84) and field goal percentage (.500). This is the first time in Hill’s collegiate career that he’s been an all-conference pick.
Johnson averaged 9.2 points per game and 3.4 rebounds in his freshman campaign. He was also became the 22nd player to receive all-freshman conference honors for the Wildcats.
