The Arizona Wildcats are set to play the winner of Wednesday’s game between No. 8 seed Cal and No. 9 seed Washington State in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas.
UA, which earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament by winning the regular-season conference championship, will play the Cal-WSU winner at 12:10 p.m. Thursday. The game will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.
The Wildcats earned a 91-69 win over Stanford in Tucson on Saturday to conclude the regular season with a 28-3 overall record and a 16-2 mark in the Pac-12.
The Wildcats swept Cal during regular-season play, beating the Golden Bears 73-50 in Berkeley on Jan. 24 and 99-60 in Tucson on Thursday.
UA defeated the Cougars 86-59 in Pullman on Feb. 15 in their only matchup of the season.
The Wildcats have not won a Pac-12 Tournament championship under sixth-year head coach Sean Miller. They lost in the conference tourney final in 2011, ’12 and ’14.
