That’s why they are a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament as well as a popular pick win the championship.

But according to Forbes, they’re also one of the most valuable teams in the country.

In fact, they are ranked fourth, behind Louisville, Kansas and Kentucky.

One-year change: 13%
Revenue: $28 million
Profit: $18 million
Conference: Pac-12
Head coach: Sean Miller

Last year the Wildcats experienced revenue growth from ticket sales, sponsorships and NCAA/conference distributions. Arizona’s seven tourney games played over the two previous seasons are worth nearly $2 million annually to the Pac-12.

Arizona was ranked sixth last year.

The Wildcats will begin the NCAA Tournament Thursday morning against Texas Southern at 11:10 a.m. Arizona time.
