Green scores 20, Spurs bounce back to beat Bucks 114-103

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Danny Green scored 20 points and Tim Duncan added 19 points and seven assists as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Milwaukee Bucks 114-103 Wednesday night.

San Antonio bounced back after an embarrassing overtime loss to the New York Knicks, 104-100 on Tuesday night. After the game, Spurs coach Greg Popovich called it “a pathetic performance.”

The Spurs were much better Wednesday, as Boris Diaw had 18 points and Tony Parker scored 15. San Antonio has won eight of 10.

San Antonio took control in the second half and built a 19-point lead.

But Giannis Antetokounmpo scored for the Bucks and was fouled with 6:43 remaining. He hit the free throw to cut the Spurs’ lead to 103-91. Duncan scored the next four points, including a driving layup with 5:50 remaining, to put the game away.

Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 19 points, and Ersan Ilyasova added 17. Milwaukee has lost 11 of 14.
