SAO PAULO (AP) — Luis Suarez will start for Uruguay against England in Group D at the World Cup on Thursday after recovering from injury.
The Liverpool striker hasn’t played a match since featuring in the Premier League on May 11, and undergoing surgery on his left knee 11 days later.
Suarez, who scored a league-leading 31 goals in England last season, will lead the strike force with Edinson Cavani as Diego Forlan drops to the bench.
