Cavaliers 2018-19 ‘City Edition’ uniforms receive mixed reviews

Over the past few weeks, NBA teams have released their “City Edition” uniforms for this season.
On Thursday, the Cleveland Cavaliers released theirs. The jerseys are blue and orange with a “wave” pattern across the front of the jersey.

According to the Cavs’ website, the blue and orange resembles the jerseys the team wore when it moved back to downtown Cleveland in 1994. Also, the wave pattern resembles “Lake Erie and the power and energy generated from this body of water that defines the shoreline of the City of Cleveland.”

The Cavaliers will debut their new “City Edition” jerseys on Nov. 13 when they take on the Charlotte Hornets. They will also wear them on Dec. 7 against the Sacramento Kings.
Some fans like the new jerseys so much they think it will turn around the Cavs’ 1-10 record.
