The 2016 Arena Football League season gets underway Friday night, and the Arizona Rattlers will have a different look when they take the field against the Portland Steel at Moda Center.
Not only do the Rattlers have a lot of new players this season, they’ll also be wearing new uniforms.
The new look was unveiled Tuesday at Talking Stick Resort Arena as part of the team’s media day.
The uniforms were born out of a league-wide partnership with Under Armour, who has been named the official uniform and on-field apparel supplier of the Arena Football League.
Russell Athletic previously supplied uniforms to the AFL.
“We are excited to bring new life into our uniforms as well as introduce new initiatives for our fans for the 2016 season,” said team president, Chris Presson in a press release. “We continue to grow and build strong corporate partnerships that allow us to grow the success of our overall business.”
