Devin Booker’s rookie season with the Phoenix Suns may not be one of the five best in Arizona sports history, but the 19-year-old has been breaking franchise records all season.

His impressive scoring runs throughout the 2015-16 season have put the Kentucky product in elite company.

Averaging 13.7 points, 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game, let’s take a look at Booker’s rookie year, by the numbers.

1,000

With the April 9 win against the Pelicans, Booker scored his 1,000 point at the fourth-youngest age (19 years, 162 days) in NBA history behind only Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

30

Since Blake Griffin’s rookie season in 2010-11, Booker is the first rookie to score 30 or more points in six games.

6

On Jan. 19 against the Indiana Pacers, Booker hit six 3-pointers, setting a new Suns rookie record.

23

Booker’s 23 points in the Rising Stars game only trail Amar’e Stoudemire’s 36 for the most by a Suns rookie in the game.

14

Booker has made at least one three-pointer in 14 straight games, which is a Suns rookie record.

35

Along with James, Booker became the only teen to put together back-to-back 30-point games when he scored 32 points against the Knicks March 9 and then 35 against the Nuggets the next night.

19

On Nov. 23 against the San Antonio Spurs, Booker became the youngest Suns player to start a game (19 years, 24 days), beating Stoudemire’s old record (20 years, seven days). He also was the youngest 3-point competition participant in NBA history (19).

1992

Since 1992-93’s rookie season for Richard Dumas, no Sun until Booker recorded multiple 30-point games in their first season.
