The Arizona Coyotes and Arizona State athletics announced on Wednesday that Gila River Arena will host four Sun Devil hockey games during the 2015-16 season, which also includes two additional NCAA games.

The first contest to take place at the home of the Coyotes will be a Territorial-Cup style game against the University of Arizona on Saturday, October 3 at 7 p.m.

Arizona State is hosting the Desert Hockey Classic, a four-team tournament that will include UConn, Yale and Michigan Tech. Every team is guaranteed to play two games, with ASU hosting Yale on Friday, Jan. 8 and then either of the other two teams in the tournament final or consolation game.

ASU’s other game is a matchup with the U.S. National 18-U team on Sunday, Feb. 28.

Hockey will become the 23rd NCAA Division I sport for Arizona State  starting for the 2015 season, and they will play 25 games at the Division I level, including the four at Gila River Arena.
