ESPN 620 to broadcast two Suns Summer League games

The 2018 NBA Draft’s top pick, Deandre Ayton, and the rest of the Phoenix Suns’ Las Vegas Summer League team will debut on ESPN 620 AM this Friday.

ESPN 620 AM will broadcast the first two games for the Summer Suns.

Phoenix opens play Friday at 6:30 p.m. against the Dallas Mavericks, whose roster includes second-year point guard Dennis Smith Jr.

Luka Doncic, the third overall pick in 2018, is not expected to play for Dallas, according to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.

The Suns then play Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against the Sacramento Kings, who boast second overall pick in the 2018 draft, Duke product Marvin Bagley III.

In addition to Ayton, the Suns’ roster also features rookies Mikal Bridges, Elie Okobo and George King, as well as second-year pro Josh Jackson and third-year pro Dragan Bender.

Jon Bloom will be on the call for ESPN 620 AM, and ArizonaSports.com’s Kellan Olson will be reporting from Las Vegas during the Suns’ run.

Phoenix’s first two games will also be televised on ESPN.
