Eight years ago, the Los Angeles Rams took quarterback Sam Bradford with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Defensive end Ndamukong Suh was picked No. 2.

Now, Suh is with L.A. He’s out to show the Rams they took the wrong guy.

“I always mark the calendar when I have Sam Bradford on there, no matter what,” Suh told the Around The NFL Podcast on Thursday. “Whether it was when we were rookies, when he was in St. Louis or when he was any other place. I’ve always looked forward to going against him.”

He only needs to wait one week. In Week 2, Bradford and the Arizona Cardinals will face the Rams.

Bradford, initially drafted by Rams, appeared to be their quarterback of the future after playing all 16 games, eclipsing 3,500 yards and throwing 18 touchdowns en route to Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2010.

He couldn’t stay healthy, though, playing only 33 games over the next four seasons before moving on to Philadelphia and then Minnesota.

Meanwhile, Suh won Defensive Rookie of the Year in a 10-sack season for the Detroit Lions. Despite his penalties often overshadowing his stellar play early in his career, the Miami Dolphins signed Suh to  a six-year $114 million contract with $60 million guaranteed.

They released him after three seasons and Suh subsequently signed with the Rams for one year, $14 million.

The five-time Pro Bowler has one career interception.

His first and only pick came against the first and only guy picked ahead of him in the 2010 draft.

Now, they’re in the same division.

“He’s a quarterback, at the end of the day,” Suh added. “So I want to get after a quarterback no matter what.”

Suh, who had the second-most sacks (51.5) from 2010-17, according to the Dolphins’ website, will get the call early this season.

“I’m not much of a talker, but I’ll definitely try to hit him as hard as I can,” Suh said.
