ASU freshman guard Luguentz Dort has made a name for himself already.

The Montreal, Quebec native has averaged 17.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists this year in the first 14 games of his college career, and scored a whopping 33 points against Utah State. He has scored 24 or more points four times and was named NCAA National Player of the Week and Pac-12 Player of the Week on Nov. 26.

That’s not a bad start to his career.

Dort has “cooled off” some as of late, averaging just 11.5 points in his last six games, but ESPN’s latest NBA mock draft from Jonathan Givony still has the freshman going No. 20 overall to the San Antonio Spurs in this year’s selections.

According to the mock, Dort would be fourth Pac-12 player selected, coming in behind USC’s Kevin Porter (11th to MIN), Oregon’s Bol Bol (15th to CHA) and Stanford’s KZ Okpala (19th to POR).

To no surprise, the mock also has Zion Williamson going first overall, which Givony projects will be Cleveland’s pick when it’s all said and done. And the Phoenix Suns? Their pick is mocked to be the second overall, with which the team will select R.J. Barrett, a teammate of Williamson at Duke.

Arizona State hasn’t had a player selected in the NBA draft since Carrick Felix went to Cleveland 33rd overall in 2013. Before that, James Harden was taken third overall in 2009 by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Last year, Tra Holder’s name appeared at the end of some mock drafts, but he was not selected and now plays for Fiat Torino in Italy.
