Devin Booker passed another milestone against the Portland Trail Blazers Thursday night.

In the 120-106 loss to Portland, Booker eclipsed the 5,000-point mark in his 245th game, becoming the second-quickest player to do so in franchise history.

Walter Davis holds the top honors, only taking 215 games to reach 5,000 points.

Looking at the NBA as a whole, Booker joins a star-studded group as well.

Booker (22 years, 86 days) joins LeBron James (21 years, 22 days), Kevin Durant (21 years, 133 days), Carmelo Anthony (21 years, 292 days) and Dwight Howard (22 years, 81 days) as the youngest NBA players to reach the accomplishment.

In the loss to the Trail Blazers, Booker got off to a hot start, dropping 18 points in the first quarter. He ended with 27 and three assists.

This season, he’s averaging 24.2 points, 6.9 assists (a career high) and 3.7 rebounds.

But while the accolades pile up for the young guard, he has one thing on his mind.

Winning.

“It’s a blessing to be here in the NBA, I’m living out my dream,” Booker said after Thursday’s game. “But at the same time, I don’t really care anymore.

“I’ve done the individual accolades countless numbers of times and so for me now is figuring out how to win and we’re not doing that right now. So until we start winning, that’s when all those things will matter to me.”
